Who am I?

I am Jerusha Cardimona-Kaffine, owner of Cardimona-Kaffine Designs.  I am an independent kitchen designer that collaborates with homeowners and industry professionals who are committed to the designing and the carrying out of sustainable spaces.

I'm a registered Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) with National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA),  and a graduate of the number one undergrad architectural program, Virginia Tech according to the November 2007 issue of Architect Magazine.

 

Why an independent kitchen designer is beneficial to you?

Most kitchen designers are employed by the dealers of particular products.  This means the designs are conceived with-in the parameters of the products carried by those dealers.

As an independent designer, Cardimona-Kaffine Designs is not attached to a product line and owes no allegiance to any dealer.  This allows for creative freedom to design a space that truly works for you the user.  Cardimona-Kaffine Designs main focus is to anticipated your needs and incorporated them into a custom Eco-Chic design.  It's not about making that product sale. 

Another benefit of using an independent designer is that the drawings produced by Cardimona-Kaffine Designs are considered 'works for hire' and therefore are yours to keep and use through out your construction project.  That's right...you keep the drawings!  With your custom Eco-Chic design drawing packet, which includes floor & mechanical plans, elevations and rendered perspective views, you have the power make true 'apples to apples' comparisons when gathering bids.
